An update on what’s happening at Liberty SBC concerning the developing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. At this time, officials are not recommending the cancellation of public events or Sunday church gatherings. Liberty SBC will remain open and we will continue to provide food to the members of our community, however the Sunday soup kitchen will be closed. In regards to the food bank distributions, we are asking all members of the community to remain in their cars, follow the directions of the parking assistants and a pre-made box of food will be placed in your car.
During this time, we are asking you to help stop the spread of the virus in the following ways:
1. Stay at home when you or a family member are sick.
2. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the restroom, before eating and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
3. Cover your sneeze or cough with a tissue or your arm.
4. Wear a face mask when out in public or around large groups of people.
5. We are a friendly congregation, but during this time forgo shaking hands for, wave or a friendly smile.
6. If you or someone you know tests positive for COVID-19, please let us know so we can find a way to help, pray for everyone involved and take any necessary precautions here at LibertySBC
